1950s Menswear sewing pattern magazine
'Herrenkleidung'
Here I present an early-1950s edition of a Beyers magazine that promotes their menswear sewing patterns. Many of these same designs also appear dotted about in the other women's pattern magazines (usually relegated to the later pages), but this original magazine complied them conveniently in one edition. The focus is on basic items, such as work shirts, casual wear and workwear, however there are more detailed patterns for sports jackets and longer coats. Importantly, only the designs that have the size (usually the chest size in centimetres) are available.
Designs from these editions are available on request; if you see a design you would like to have traced for you (PDF or paper pattern), here is what you need to do.
Please note the year and the design's number, or make a screenshot. Then use the 'In Search Of' contact form or send me a direct email to Slowmadeingermany@gmail.com.
