Dress from 1942. A classic early 1940s design. The gathered panels on the bodice and skirt lend themselves to contrasting colour and fabric-texture blocking. The fitted waist has a buttoned front opening and a self-fabric belt. The skirt has an inverted pleat at the centre back.
