1934 Mens' jacket pattern in 104 cm (41") chest
Link to buy PDF of 104 cm/ 41" chest size
Men’s short jacket, which was part of a casual weekend or walking outfit, featured in pattern magazines from the late 1920s to the mid 1930s. At the time, it was a slightly ‘more modern’ and less-embellished version of earlier traditional German ‘Trachten’ jackets.
The jacket is single-breasted and features a notched collar with short lapels and four front welt pockets. The jacket’s sides are shaped into the back waist with adjustable fabric belts and the ends of the two-piece sleeves have buttons. The front hemline is shaped towards a lower point at the centre front.
