1936 Dress 96 cm or 102 cm (37.8" or 40") bust

A casual summer dress for sport and travel. The bodice features a centre front button placket and a collar, which are accentuated with topstitching. The short sleeves are made from two pieces that are joined with an underlap and buttons. The front of the the skirt as two box pleats that are stitched together and break open at the knee. The back of the dress is cut as one piece. The original sketch shows the left side closure has a row of buttons. At the waist, a fabric belt, joined with a decorative clasp, smartly finishes the outfit.
