1932 Art Deco Coat 114 cm (45") bust
A long coat form from 1932. Sleek angular lines define this Art Deco era coat. Its elegant design features a slim silhouette, a simple collar and matching cuffs. The front wraps over and fastens with a large buckle at the waist. This coat could be styled in many different ways; I can imagine the pieces can be blocked with different colours or fabric textures. Here the original sketch shows subtle stripes on the main coat panels.
