1933 Dress 96 cm (37.8") bust
This Art Deco era dress features geometrical styling on both the front and back. The bodice has a square neckline, short sleeves and a button closure on the left shoulder. The lower parts of the left side of the front skirt and back have two pleats. The design lines could be constructed and accentuated with either inserting pre-made entredeux bands or faggoting-stitch (ladder like stitches made with threads across an open area between two fabrics), or alternatively, decorative bands could be applied on the top. This is an early 1930s era specific design, which can easily be styled for our current times.
