1941 Coat 88 cm (34.6") bust
Also available as a PDF pattern
A 1940s summer coat pattern. The opening of this knee length coat meets at the centre front, with no overlap and has fastens with button and loops at the waist. At first glance the sleeve looks like a kimono-style sleeve, but it is actually a wide dropped sleeve, which joins the mid-sections and tapers elegantly to the wrist. This is a perfect coat for the changing seasons, also in a linen or lighter fabric this coat is an elegant option for the cooler days of summer.
