1942 Jacket 96 cm (37.8") bust
Also available as a PDF pattern
A practical 1940s jacket, but with stylish details! This jacket pattern was published with original photos of the real jacket and not just line drawings, this way you can clearly see the design. The front has a yoke, buttons, practical patch pockets and is tied at the waist with a fabric belt. The back view shows that the back has a generous fit and features two box pleats. This is a jacket for doing things in; walking, shopping... moving about in. It is built for comfort and yet it has many details that command attention, such as the curved line on the top of the pockets and the top-stitching.
