1941 Swing coat 100 cm (39.4") bust
Also available as a PDF pattern
This swing coat has a bias-cut insert at the back, which provides an elegant swing! The neckline is collarless and the centre fronts meet together (there is no overlap) and can be fastened with a decorative broach or you could add a button and loop. The sleeve-head has three pleats, which provide that dominant 1940s shoulder-line.
