1936 Mens' knickerbocker 100 cm (39.4") waist
Also available as a PDF pattern
Knickerbocker pattern from 1936. These trousers have a front pleat, front and back inside pockets with flaps, plus a small coin pocket that is not visible in the original sketch. The waistline does not have a waistband, and will need to be finished with a facing after the final fitting. The ends of the trouser fasten under the knee; there is a small slit, which is attached to a band with a buckle. This pattern is for the knickerbockers only.

The pattern is very accurate, all fits perfectly. As explained on the site the instructions are not a complete step by step guide, some sewing experience is required. But once I got started it was a joy to work with this pattern, resulting so far in two very wearable plusfours. Perhaps not (yet) perfect but not bad for a first try. Looking forward to making more. Ordering was easy, good e-mail tracking and friendly correspondence. Have ordered more patterns and highly recommended the site to vintage loving friends.
