1934 Blouse 96 cm (37.8") bust. PDF pattern.
The original publication describes this as a velvet blouse that is worn over a finer, more delicate, long sleeved blouse underneath.
This 1930s era piece is unique and stylish. The main blouse has a V-neckline and a cut-in at the centre front where a fabric bow is thread through and tied. The blouse is fitted at the waist, it has a left-side closure and is worn with a purchased belt. The cape-like sleeves are short and shape nicely over the shoulders because the main pieces are cut on the bias.
This is a garment that was designed to add extra flare to existing basic pieces, such as a plain blouse, therefore extending the available clothing choices within a mid 1930s wardrobe.
