An elegant day dress from 1939. A classic wide-shouldered design in the late 1930s - early 1940s style. It has a fitted waistline and a heart-shaped neckline with gathered front yokes. The flared A-line skirt features a side drape on the left side. The waistline is accentuated with a wide gathered fabric belt worn on top. The back has buttons from the nape to the waistline. This design will look lovely sewn in both a floral or a plain fabric.
