1935 Mens' coat 104 cm (41") chest
Also available as a printed PAPER pattern
A single-breasted casual sports coat pattern from 1935.
The front and back yokes are shaped with curved seams. The edges of the notched collar, the yoke seams and the pockets are topstitched, which emphasises the casual and sturdy form of this design.
The front of the coat has four buttons. The ends of the sleeves, which have a simple hem, can be adjusted with a short tab and button. The edges of the patch pockets are stitched on all four sides, and there is a pocket flap, which covers a slit-opening into the pocket, that is fastens with a button. The coat is worn with a matching fabric belt.
